Welcome Distance Learners!

This guide will provide you with information about the MassBay Libraries, including how to obtain a library card number and how to carry out research using our databases.

For your convenience, there is a tab at the top of your Blackboard Page that links you directly to Library Services!

Professor Marina Bograd and some of her students have put together a course in Blackboard that will help you to succeed in your online course.  To access this module, please click on the link below.

Please Note:  Please Enroll in the Course via the link in the box on the left hand side of the page.  You MUST be logged into Blackboard in order to enroll.

Getting a Library Card

Your MassBay ONE Card (Student ID) also acts as your Library Card.  Information on obtaining a ONE Card can be found at their Webpage (link below).

If you only take classes online you can access your Library Card Number through your Bay Navigator account.  Login to Bay Navigator, select Self-Service, then Campus Personal.  From here you should see a link to Library Card Number.  Click on this link and print this page.  Keep this with your class materials so you always have the number handy when you need to carry out research.

For complete information regarding LibraryCard Privileges, please visit the Your MassBay Library Card LibGuide (link below).
